The Clydes

Join us at the Sierra Nevada Taproom in Mills River on Sunday, September 1st from 2pm to 5pm for a free show with The Clydes.

The Clydes is music forged from grit, love and hard times, embracing smokey vocals and soul twisting delivery which can best be described as Old Soul Americana. Their infectious stage presence, memory haunting songs and instrumental wizardry has delighted a vast audience from Georgia to Maine, from Minnesota to the UK.

The Clydes are a very hard working, heavy traveling, candle on both ends burning, passionate band who has performed hundreds of shows, numerous festivals and media appearances, and who looks eagerly toward the horizon for all the music yet to be made.

Donna Hopkins Band

Join us at the Sierra Nevada Taproom in Mills River on Saturday, September 15th from 2pm to 5pm for a free show with the Donna Hopkins Band.

Donna Hopkins is the real deal. Born and raised on an Alabama farm, Donna witnessed life in
the South first hand, channeling it into the soulful music that she creates and performs. Music
runs in her family; her mother performed rock and roll in go-go boots and mini-skirts and her
grandfather was a fine musician in his own right. Donna is a consummate seasoned songwriter
and performer, and has opened for and shared the stage with such luminaries as Col. Bruce
Hampton, Derek Trucks, Francine Reed, Joe Bonamassa, Emily Saliers, Jerry Lee Lewis,
Stevie Wonder, Tanya Tucker and Robert Cray.
