Live music and craft beer in the Carolina Mountains.

Good music and great beer have always gone hand in hand, and our music spaces in Mills River are the perfect places to showcase them both. Join us for these free weekly jams featuring local and touring acts in our outdoor amphitheater located among the serene and beautiful trees in our Back Porch. For an intimate, small venue setting, come enjoy the music inside High Gravity above our Taproom. Grab a beer and enjoy the best rhythm, blues, and brews Western North Carolina has to offer.

Aaron Burdett

Join us at the Sierra Nevada Taproom in Mills River on Saturday August 25th from 2pm to 5pm for a free show with Aaron Burdett.

Creating music isn’t a means to an end, it is an end with a meaning for Aaron Burdett. Writing and creating songs is rooted somewhere deep in his psyche; it’s something that can’t be denied and must be shared. His lyrics are soul-touching, intelligent, witty, and poetic all at once, while his music style is a seamless blend of Americana, country, blues, bluegrass, and folk-rock that cohesively creates a story.

Travers Brothership

Join us at the Sierra Nevada Taproom in Mills River on Saturday, August 25th from 7pm to 9:30pm for a free show with Travers Brothership.

Twin brothers Eric and Kyle Travers have been making music and stunning audiences since they first began performing together at 13 years old. It is safe to say The Brothership stands out amongst most acts climbing the charts in the U.S. today. Why do they stand out so boldly amongst the others? They care to make each concert a unique and unforgettable experience. Utilizing the band’s unmatched live energy and superior songwriting, they create a live atmosphere that transforms an audience into a community. A Travers Brothership concert is best described as a wild block party, and this is a party you don’t want to miss.
